Baked Cinnamon Apple Steel Cut Oats

January 2, 2018
Have you ever had steel cut oats? If you’ve never had them, you’ll notice steel cut oats have a courser texture than regular oatmeal, but it’s that course texture that makes a serving of steel cut oats seem moored lube a real meal.
Adding cinnamon apples to this baked meal only makes this when more delicious and satisfying.
Although never necessary, I love toasting my steel cut oats first. This extra step deepens the flavor and adds a hearty depth to this already satisfying meal.
This recipe is perfect for a week’s worth of breakfasts if made in Sunday!  You can easily cut this recipe in half for a smaller amount.
