What are Overnight Oat? If you haven’t heard of overnight oats before, it’s a breakfast game changer! Overnight oats are simply a blend of raw old-fashioned oats, liquid, & a few favorite mix-ins, that steep in the fridge until morning. This heat-free version is as simple as it gets. Perfect make-ahead breakfast for those hectic mornings or meal after an intense workout.

Overnight oats keep well in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, so prepare your oats on Sunday & you’ll have breakfast covered for the workweek!

Blueberry Pecan Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup blueberries*
  • 1/4 cup pecans*
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp honey

Directions:

  1. Pour milk into a 16 oz mason jar or container of choice
  2. Add in oats & give it a good stir to make sure oats are immersed in milk.
  3. Layer Greek yogurt & blueberries.
  4. Top with vanilla & honey.
  5. Cover securely with a lid & set in refrigerator overnight.
  6. Rise & shine, top with pecans & enjoy!
  • *switch out blueberries for your favorite fruit.
  • *sliced almonds would be a great substitute for pecans!

    Yep! I have tried something like this, but I made it with drizzle of pure Maple syrup and Toasted coconut almond milk. I also mixed in some steel cut oats in with the rolled oats to give it a bit of a crunch. I’ll give this honey & vanilla version a try. Thanks!
