Risk-taking with Guest Brandon Hargett

October 17, 2019

Risk-taking is a part of entrepreneurial life… Entrepreneurs have to have a risk-taking spirit because not taking risks can kill a business before it gets off the ground.

Join Denise and Emily with guest, Brandon Hargett, owner of Ruby River, and Hoppers Restaurants as we discuss his experiences of taking risks, owning several restaurants, finding capital, and staying healthy. Consider it your Entrepreneur Finance 101. Brandon will be sharing how getting healthier helped skyrocket his company, and much more.

As a reminder, we always start our podcast with a “Would You Rather” joke to lighten the mood and help our guest relax. So feel free to skip the first few minutes and jump right into the good stuff.

“Being relentless means demanding more of yourself than anyone else could ever demand of you, knowing that every time you stop, you can still do more. You must do more.”
― Tim S. Grover, Relentless: From Good to Great to Unstoppable

This life style isn’t for everyone, I can see many times where this would drive people up the wall doing what he does. I agree it can work for some people, type A personalities, but for others this would put the fear of god in them.
