How To Have A Dream And Be A Parent

June 8, 2018

“You don’t need to do great things everyday, but you need to do something towards your dream daily,”

Stephanie is a mother, artist and entrepreneur. At a very young age Stephanie knew she wanted to be an artist and was completely taken by the process of making art. As she developed her artistic abilities she quickly learned she also loved to teach others. She explored many different processes during high school and held art camps to teach children. In college she studied and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and also received a teaching certificate.

Since becoming a mother, Stephanie has left a full-time teaching roll to raise and teach her own children. However, art has continued to be a crucial outlet and has opened doors for further teaching opportunities, online tutorials and other business endeavors while allowing her to remain a stay-at-home mother.

She started Mother Make, an Instagram account, as a way to showcase her art and quickly gained popularity for refashioning her husbands dress shirts into clothing for her kids. She also showcases her paintings, illustrations and block prints among other creative processes. You can find her on Instagram or Facebook as @MotherMake or her website MotherMake.com
