Healthy Packaged Snacks You Can Bring to Work

I’m always on the hunt for simple, convenient and most importantly healthy snacks I can bring to the office. It’s hard to get through a whole day of work without getting hungry. That’s OK; snacking can actually be good for you as long as you choose healthy foods in the right proportions. Have you noticed that boredom and stress often lead to mindless snacking on things like candy and chips? Also, sometimes there are too many temptations around the office, like candy dishes on your colleagues’ desks, cupcakes for birthdays, or pizza during lunch meetings.

I have some real winners to share and they don’t come with any guilt. You’ll be able to curb your snack attack cravings without any shame in your game. These snacks will give you a boost of energy and help you stay productive all day long. Put these in your cart on your next shopping trip. Snack on.

Chickpea Bites- These high-protein, high-fiber crunchy chickpeas are a great alternative to other not-so-healthy crunchy snacks like chips. I also love that they’re nonperishable, so you can keep them in your purse or gym bag when you need a quick bite.

G2G Bars- I’m not exaggerating when I say that I LOVE these. This is by far the best tasting protein bar on the market with no preservatives, no refined sugars, and no gluten. They taste like you’re eating cookie dough. Don’t freak out at the high fat content, it’s good fats! G2G Bars are sold in the fridge section to maintain freshness.

Justin’s Nut Butter Packets- Justin’s is one nut butter brand that only uses whole, recognizable ingredients, which might be why it’s such a fan favorite. The squeeze packs make an easy, spoon-free source of protein, fiber, and healthy fats. I like to pair the Maple Almond and Chocolate Hazelnut nut butter flavors with apple or banana slices. Soooo good and super convenient for work.

Toasted Coconut Chips- I swear by these chips, which are made with just three ingredients: coconut, cane sugar, and sea salt. They offer a touch of sweet and salty, which is often just enough to satisfy my snack cravings.

Terra Vegetable Chips- I like these because they’ve got a crunch similar to that of kettle chips, but have a shorter ingredient list and not as much salt. The single serving bags also make it so easy to enjoy a moderate portion. I’ll toss a bag into my lunch or snack on them while on the road.

Dukes Beef Jerky- Another fav! All of Dukes steak and brisket strips are made with 100% grass-fed beef. They use clean simple ingredients – No added Hormones, No Added Nitrites, No MSG, No Gluten, No Added Preservatives, No Liquid Smoke. My favorite is the Hatch Green Chili. Most Jerky on the market is loaded with sugar, Dukes doesn’t sugar coat anything. This is a great snack to keep at your desk and you can find it in most gas stations too!
