Good job. That was a very informative podcast.
Aww, Thank you Monilee!
I appreciate the emphasis on eating foods to make your body “feel” healthy. I will research plant based foods more thoroughly.
I need to work on Portion control/ Moderation, and allowing myself to save a portion for later, or throw away food when I am full, instead of eating until my plate is cleared.
Diet is a 4 letter word, and it gives me a negative feeling . I don’t want to feel that I’m not allowed
It is all about moderation. I do try not to eat heavy foods late in the day , my stomach doesn’t like it.
I enjoyed the information. I hope I can make a better plan going forward.
Peggy, you got this!! We believe in you!
You two don’t have any fun working together, do you? 😉
Anyway, everything you’ve mentioned seems pretty common sense to me. I’ve tried shifting to more greens and veggies with what I eat, and I think it’s working. I like the point of if it makes you feel better, it’s probably worth continually eating.
No Brian it’s the WORST working together! Ok, that statement is only true if it’s opposite day. Thanks for listening!!
Enjoyed you podcast – as I have the others. You give us lots of good information. I have never liked the word diet. I have always felt that there should be moderation in all things – food, exercise etc. I feel that eating should be a lifestyle. I also like to cook from scratch and choose what goes into the food my family and I eat. As I learn new things that I feel would be helpful, I try to incorporate it into our way of eating at our home.
Judy, we love you for listening and so many more reasons!
I liked the idea of eating Protein, Carbs and Fat at each meal. It is a challenge with a lot of travel but I want to focus on this and monitor how I feel to see if there is an improvement.
Thank you for the insight!!
Yes it can be Jeff! BUT, it’ll make a difference in so many ways; energy, focus, weight and muscle.
Protein; it’s hard to get enough protein.
Ya, we feel ya! Sometimes you have to get creative with protein. Here’s some suggestions for great protein foods other than meat: eggs, string cheese, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, nuts, quinoa, beans and lentils. Try incorporating some of these foods to help get all your protein in!
There is so much good information I want to keep this pod cast so I can kept referring back to it. Thanks for going into detail on the healthy clean foods we should be eating.
