Slow Cooked Apple Pie Oatmeal

March 28, 2016

I make a mean apple pie. In the past, I have been known to eat a slice for breakfast, but we all know that’s probably not the best choice. This slow cooked apple pie oatmeal recipe gives me a good and healthy fix in the morning…without the guilt! Throw all the ingredients into the crock pot before you go to bed, and you’ll have a delicious hot breakfast ready 8 hours later.

Add all ingredients to your slow cooker. Stir. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Not only will you wake to the most delicious smell, but it will look delicious too!

Give it a good stir. Top with your favorite toppings. I like peanut butter and fresh chopped apples. *Add more almond milk if desired.

Store leftovers in fridge for up to 1 week. To reheat add a splash of almond milk and heat up in microwave.
