Extremity interesting information on the effect meditation has on the brain. I really like the benefit meditation can provide of rapid memory re-call — this is huge! The meditation verbal outline was effective. Good job Mikalyn!!

  3. Gina Swensen says:

Thanks Mikalyn for giving me even more information on this topic. I think that I mentioned when I saw you yesterday that I had been checking out information about meditation from the library in order to get better at it. Can you email me some of the information that you used to put your blog together? I’m having difficulty getting the Vimeo to play past 3 minutes and 15 seconds, most likely and IT issue. Thanks

  4. Monilee Pearson Conrad says:

Thank you for reminding us to stop our busy schedules and to meditate. All of us can find two minutes to do this. And the nice thing is, it’s a gift we are giving ourselves.

  5. Chandler Harding says:

I thought the most interesting part was the facts that more gray matter equals more positive emotions. I also loved the fact that meditation was proven in a scientific study to improve rapid memory recall. This is important to me because i have memory issues and i need the help with blocking distractions and the ability to increase productivity. This is a tool I will use to try to improve on these issues.
    Thanks Mika

I’ve learned that having your mind full is too much of a distraction for me. Just like your body, your brain needs to exercise as well. We need to relieve stress through our mind and body. I didn’t know that doing meditation can help improve, boost, increase, and reduce stress/anxiety. That is amazing! I need to do more meditation. Thank you Mikalyn, you are one strong, powerful, amazing individual!

  7. Peggy Rawlins says:

OK, so I am really behind, but i was out of the office for a week and am catching up. This exercise was perfect to help me deal with the stress of so much catch up work to do. As I incorporated the meditation techniques, I felt my muscles relax and release. I had not even realized how tense I was. I am going to try the 2 minutes a day for a week and plan to continue every day. Thanks, Mikalyn!

  8. Mary Rice says:

I love this. It will be very useful to me and I can spare 2 minutes.

  9. Paula Islami says:

Thanks Mikalyn this will help me a lot.

  10. Katie Simons says:

I was surprised at how well this worked and how relaxed I felt. Will have to keep doing this.

  11. Jonathan Baker says:

I have been told that I am “wound tight” always thinking/worrying about something, relaxing is difficult for me. Even in this short video, trying the techniques seemed to work to some degree. My hope is that I will be able to utilize this on a daily basis and better learn how to relax and unwind. Thanks,

  12. Scott says:

The meditations really worked to calm down, relax and feel less stressed. Thank you.
