“Maintain Don’t Gain” challenge is under way.

Weight management can always be challenging, but more so during the holidays. The secret to success is calorie intake, which means choosing appropriate portions and remembering, Extra Bites Add Up.  If you were to eat an additional 100 calories every day (in excess of what you need) it can lead to an extra 10 pounds of weight gain within just one year.  Studies show individuals tend to eat nearly 300-700 calories over the needed amount during the holiday months.
